2min
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026
2min helps you spend less time in social apps by adding a short pause before they open and an optional time limit. This policy explains what happens to your data. In short: we do not collect any data.
What we collect
Nothing. 2min has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app does not send any information about you to us or to third parties.
Screen Time data
2min uses Apple’s Screen Time frameworks (Family Controls, Device Activity and Managed Settings) to show the pause, apply time limits and display your screen time statistics. Apple processes this data on your device. The apps you choose are given to 2min only as anonymous tokens, and your usage data never leaves your iPhone.
Data stored on your device
Your settings and pause statistics are stored locally on your iPhone. They are removed when you delete the app.
Shortcuts and notifications
The pause is triggered by a Shortcuts automation that runs on your device. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone; no push service is used.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, payment details or Apple Account information.
Children
2min does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
